Our wooden Hive Top Feeder is made of NY Pine and has a heavy duty plastic basin with mesh screening to allow the bees to collect the sugar syrup without drowning. The feeder can be checked adn refilled without disturbing the bees. The 10 Frame size will hold up to 4 gallons of syrup and the 8 Frame size will hold up to 3.2 gallons of syrup.
