Queen Saved a Hive
Posted by Alan J Lefko on Jun 16th 2021
I had a hive with worker bee laying eggs, followed KIm's advice purchased a new queen and put a frame of brood from another hive in (no bees transferred). After 2 weeks an inspection revealed lots of new brood and bees acting normal. Thank you KIm for the the help

Mated queens
Posted by Elizabeth on Jul 29th 2020
I picked up two marked mated queens last week, for walk away splits that lost queens. The queens were in good shape, in one week, one hive has already markedly shown more activity. I was glad I could do curbside pick up.

Mated Queen

I introduced the mated Queen to my split hive. After 3 days, I had to release her because she was still in her cage. I now have to wait 3 weeks to see if she has been accepted and is laying eggs. So best to review after that. I am pleased that you had Queens and I was able to get one.
