Beetle Blaster- Hive Beetle Trap is great to use in the hive to capture hive beetles. It's recommended to use 2 per hive if you're having an issue with hive beetles. If you have a really significant population of hive beetles in the hive then 2 traps per box is advised. Use regular cooking oil in the traps like Canola Oil or Olive Oil as the smell of the oil going rancid attracts the beetles to the traps. You can also put in small pieces of mushed up fruit like apple or banana in the trap with the oil to entice them even more. The traps can be rinsed out periodically with water and reused in the hive. The trap is placed between two frames resting on the top bars of the frames to hold it in place.
